Friends
We've imported historical mates connections from previous Jimungo games. If you're signing in using a username from a previous season of Virtual Rugby, Pulse of the Nation etc, you should already see the friends you have identified inside of the community.

To find more friends (or if you're new), you can search for them by selecting "Mates" from the navigation menu. You can put your friend's names, user-names or email addresses to search. If you can't find your mates (but you know them personally), ask for their sign-in name. Each username is unique.

When you have added mates you will be able to compete against them in all Jimungo titles.

Groups
Groups provide a way for groups of people to associate through the Jimungo Community and compete in Jimungo's Virtual Games. Create a Group and invite your work mates and friends to compete with you and everyone else who joins your Group over the season.

There are a number of benefits associated with creating a Group rather than using an extended mates list. Each Group member can see the scores of all the other Group members without having to individually add each player to their mates list.

If you are in charge of running your office competition, or just want to set up a pool for your friends or work mates, then creating a Group is the easiest way to do so; giving you the chance to run your own private mini-competition within Jimungo's sites.

Forums
New for 2009, Jimungo is introducing Community Forums. A forum is a place for discussion organised into conversations, or "threads".

Forums are containers of threads
Threads are individual conversations
Posts are each person's contribution to the thread. Posts are displayed in the order they were posted.

For example, in a forum called "Rebel Sport Super 14" someone might make a thread called "Hurricanes vs Crusaders" where you can post your thoughts about the game.

Forums are managed by "moderators" who edit inappropriate content at their discretion. Please keep to your best behaviour!
